Childhood friends! They're both the same age and we can already work with the whole Tanemura/Hanazaki/Ichihara connection. Like Yukari and Chihiro, Takashi will definitely be protective of Nagisa, probably to a higher degree than the other two since Nagi seems to be the "normal" one out of the group. I'm sure that Nagisa may or may not appreciate Takashi's antics when it comes to trying to keep both girls and guys on their respective sides. On the non political side of things, Taka would make the effort to hang out with her when he isn't already buzzing about with Yukari and/or Chihiro.
