He's very friendly with people, to the point that someof the more formal or elderly people find him rude. Hiroto just really loves people and hot dogs. Thats about it. It really doesn't matter to him who you are, what gender you or whether you're a one-eyed-one-horned-flying-purple-people-eater (not that he'd believe you). He lieks doing nice things for people and if you have him as a friend he's very jovial and gung-ho about everything to do with you and spending time with you. While he likes his circles of friends to be large, he does tend to get really close to a small group of besties. My goal is to have Hiro be friends with bloody everybody that he does not piss off and that does not piss him off, but have a super close male bestie, a super close female bestie and be part of an idiot gang made up of all the stupid people on the site. He's not one to jump into fights or get angry quickly, but he'll stand his ground if you try and push his buttons. Hiroto knows for a fact he likes girls, but has never really dismissed the though of his soulmate being a boy, but physically his preferance definitely lies with women. To be totally honest, I either want his love interest to be the most out of left field, strange, "honestly wtf' for him, or, someone he can be adorably mushy-gushy with that is just as average as him. How do you make the cutest charries everrrr? ^w^ I haven't exactly come up with a plan for how these two meet yet... idk maybe Hiroto could do some random act of kindness for Chizuko or something? Or there's always that link with him being in the same grade as her brother. Why do I keep plotting her with older men? xD But after they meet, these two have potential to be BFFs |Db They're both friendly and nice, and I feel like they would get along right off the bat. They both love people... a lot xD Idk, I can see these two going out doing some kind of charity work together or something haha Bein' cute. While their personalities are sort of similar, their backgrounds are not.I wouldn't say that Chizu's life is completely left field compared to Hiro's, but she's definitely lived a different life than him. Just to add some drama in here: Even though Chizuko is really cheerful and enthusiastic like Hiro, she has to have some time to herself during the day to relax and recharge. That's usually when she's doing her painting, and she super serious about it when she's in her own little world. I get the vibe that Hiro might not understand that - or at least not expect Chi to be as serious during those times. Not intentionally, I can see him just being his friendly self like always (either coming over, or constantly calling/texting her while she's painting), but she finds him bothersome and might accidentally snap at him, causing a misunderstanding and confusion on Hiroto's part. In the end though, after Chizu's cooled off and is back to being her chipper self, she'll feel terrible and find some way to make it up to him and explain to him so he knows next time. haha

LAST THING - It's likely that Chizuko will develop some kind of a crush on him, even though she's likely to end in the friend zone. If that's the case, she won't really act on it at all cause she really likes being his friend and won't want to ruin that.

TL;DR - Good buddies, passionate about people and life in general, broadening each other's perspectives. 8)

These two should really be neighbors for the fun of it. Both are generally nice people, one of them just has a thing for explosions. They're in the same year too so they could be in the same class as well. Takashi will definitely be a loyal friend to Hiro and will basically protect the guy should he find himself in trouble he shouldn't be in. Oh and hot dog Tuesdays should be there thing xD.

dkjgdk,oh u. Seriously Emery, by now you should know that I love you like a love song baby. -and your character are amazing, so bring on the plots love. <3

I love the idea of Hiroto doing something kind for Chizuko at the start of their relationship. Nothing super big, like maybe chasing after papers on a windy day, because I can totally see him being a terrible derp and running after them, only to have them float of at the last second and cursing at them, then apologising.

The two of them would get along smashingly. Hiroto's always been friendly with girls and even at his old school a majority of his friends were female just because he's so...not interested in them. xD -and their love of people would definitely be a big thing that draw them together. Like, idk, working in a soup kitchen in the south district.

That being said, Chizuko's background and the way she conducts herself will definitely make him see her a little different then most other girls. He's used to home-town suburban girls of the bold and/or sporty variety, her kindness and upper-class mannerism will make him come to the conclusion she must be some sort of GHOST Princess, and therefore he'll speak to her a lot more formally then he does the other girls because he thinks if he doesn't her family will...chop off his head. xD But, other then that it'd be pretty much the same.

Ohhhh, dramallama is always good in my books, especially if it leads to character development. You guessed his reaction right, he won't understand her need to be alone and her snapping at him will seriously hurt. He's normally very forgiving, but, this time he won't be able to get over it quite so easily beeeecaaause--

Everything I've read about Chizuko and everything you've suggested made me think he'd reciprocate feelings for her. -and this'll be a MAJOR BIG DEAL for him, because a] she's barked at him, and b] he's an idiot who expects love to be instantanious and won't understand that he is in love with her until someone tells him. He'll probably assume it's the work of ghosts or he's being possess, lmao.

This also has the potential for even further dramallama depending on how Tsuki percieves it and how that effect their relationship. She's his best friend and extremely protective of him, so if he comes to her saying Chizuko hurt him, she might get angry. (But, of course, we'd need to clarify that with Pebble and figure out if this is gonna turn love-triangle on us.)

So, good buddies who eventually develop feelings for each other and have to deal with teenage angsty bullshit that Hiroto thinks is caused by the dead. xD

Hiroto is just an extremely likable fellow and since you want him to be friends with everyone he can absolutely be friends with Kanda. I'm sure they probably met at a hot dog stand, or perhaps he saw her buy a hot dog when he was buying a hot dog and then give it to a stray dog or something. I'm sure the whole her not really speaking thing won't deter him by much, he seems like the kind of guy who will just talk enough for the two of them.
