For one, she's normally rude and snippy with people in general, and says what she wants straight out with no shame. And on top of that, she gives off a "I don't really care a lot" aura, which assists in driving people off. However if she happens to take a liking to someone by means of persistence or other factors, they'll soon find out her attitude towards them won't really change. Just she won't mean her insults towards them too much, and it's more "she's better once you get to know her...>.>;". But yeah. Fuyuko can be sympathetic and somewhat supportive at times, albeit a bit more subtle, if she feels she really has to. But otherwise...you really just have to put up with her attitude for a bit and friendship won't be too far off. Alternatively, if you like music, or play an instrument, or sing, then Fuyuko will go 8DDDD and proceed to gush and fangirl and nerd out on music shit if she finds you're as passionate about it as her. Because she loves music. And others who also love it are pretty cool in her book. And sob stories/tears will get her to cave easily into sticking around and awkwardly trying to comfort someone. She might fervently deny she was comforting you later on but details.
[ ENEMIES ] Enemies are not hard at all. As stated above, Fuyuko is rude and not very pleasant to people all the time. She'll put you down without a second thought on a mere whim, or just act impolite because that's how she usually is. Also if she's in a bad mood, cranky, temperamental, and irritable are just a few of the things that she becomes. And she more often than not takes these feelings out on whoever is unfortunate enough to be near her at the time. So yeah. Either you don't like her attitude or happened to be the target of a bout of rage, there are several other possibilities why you'd not like Fuyuko. On the other hand, it's not hard to annoy her either. Put her down in any way, or persistently bug her to do something will surely get you far in enemyship. Number one way to tick Fuyuko off: continuously pester her about her hair. It's a touchy subject. but you know you want to know so. people should bug her about it out of curiosity or just to annoy the fuck out of her Also magic is a touchy subject. Tread carefully in these waters, because Fuyuko sucks at casting spells and it's the most disgraceful, degrading, horrible thing in the whole wide world omg.
[ ROMANCE ] Fuyuko has easily never been in a relationship before. In fact, it's never really crossed her mind at all in the seventeen years of her life. But that isn't to say it's impossible. idk why anyone would crush on her, but I'm open for ideas. I'd guess Fuyuko wouldn't be too aware of having feelings for someone, and it'd take time for her to realize it. But um yeah. I have no idea what kind of person she'd fall for so. Uh. ANY IDEAS THROW THEM AT ME.

Ringo and Fuyuko, the Sucky Mage Duo
Like Fuyuko, he too came from a long line of mages. So I'd imagine the two would relate to each other in many ways. For one, Ringo really only got into alchemy as to compensate for his lack of ability to do magic...not to mention Ringo's own problems might trigger the sob storry sucker side of Fuyuko. For two, Ringo would interpret her love for music and passion for singing to be a way to find a talent outside of magic.
The only problem I foresee in the friendship is her rude and resentful side to her but even then Ringo would get use to it and just think it's just her being her not to mention Ringo imagined that this is how he could've turned out. He would always lecture her on her behavior so I'd imagine Ringo would be that "Naggy friend who always tries to discpline me but fails" type of person to Fuyuko.
Overall, I'm open to more ideas so yeah...add/subtract/etc

This sounds awesome. While Fuyuko wouldn't be too open about how she sucks as magic, it's not too hard to figure out if you know she's a witch, and refuses to talk about magic. anyways past that, yes. If he gives a sob story, she will begrudgingly stick around and like...awkwardly try to do the right thing and comfort him. Kinda. and fail. As for suggesting music as an alternative to magic, the thought's never even crossed her mind, with magic being shoved down her throat by her family and whatnot. I can see her get curious about how she'd go about even doing that, and her solution would be to hang around Ringring more since obvs since he suggested it, he has all the answers.
Buuut yeah. Yessss. Naggy friend that fails to influence seems perfect. I can see Fuyuko being all fine with hanging out with Ringring, but switching between feeling sorta bad his words are falling on deaf ears, and being mildly annoyed and all "i act how i want > " when he tries to convince her to be all nicer and stuff. So yeah just. I see if we thread these two, they can come out to be pretty good friends, and I can also see Fuyuko dragging him around sometimes just because she wants him to do things for her because she doesn't feel like it they're friends and friends hang out with each other.
And uh i suck at plotting sooo yeah. Open to anything else, edit as needed

One final thing I'd like to establish...would this be a pre-established long time friendship? The Shiro family and the Kasuga family are both a family of magic users so to expand connections and such, would the two have met at some point and began their friendship when they were young or do you want them to establish a friendship recently? AS for everything else, I'm up for it OuOb Ringo getting dragged across town by Fuyuko is a site I'd love to see someday. |

LOL. like, pull a little prank and such and waits to see what fuyuko'd do to fight off - for example - a rock that's suddenly 'come alive' and is now chasing her around. Okay so. This sounds like so much fun. I haven't given magic practicing too much thought, but I can see Fuyuko still practicing in some secluded area outside, and still failing every time. So like it's very possible she's destroying rocks and plants and nature alll the time.
SO if a nature starts fighting back, Fuyuko would automatically assume "gdi THE SPELL BACKFIRED AGAIN WHY CAN'T I DO THIS RIGHT?!" and try more spells to revert it. But lol it's not gonna help and then if we go with the rock, I can see her eventually just taking another rock and throwing it at the walking one, and uh, not doing herself any favors.
Then when/if she finally knows Izumi is doing all that and that he saw her epic fails at magic, she will panic. Her sucky magic skills being known by a complete stranger that even goes to the rival school albeit almost never being there is just omgthemosthorriblethingever so uh. idk if Izumi would take advantage of that or something???
BUT NO TUNA this plot is fine and I am all for it ouob

It doesn't matter where you're from because insults are insults and since Chase has thick skin or can usually counter some quips with his own I can see these guys having a mutual friendship I think? Because he has some pretty good comebacks and even when he doesn't he'll give her the applause for stumping him.

Okay so I said I'd plot with you and all and I didn't. Sososo sorry I'm just like lazy as fuq. Though also wasn't too too sure what their relationship would be honestly. Anyways if Chase stuck around and wasn't repelled by Fuyuko's attitude, he could easily be seen as like tolerable to be around eventually. Though honestly if he gives comebacks she'll be all ticked (not unusual for her) and stuff. So it might be rocky for a bt but uh I think if we throw them into a thread we'll see where it goes and all?
