| [bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] Ever since being created by the humans' ideas and hopes and becoming the official 'God of Luck', Eru ended up disliking the humans because, he got pissed off that those stupid humans thought he was a woman, a lady to boot as they dubbed him 'Lady Luck' because it was alliteration and it sounded good. What the heck, man! No guy wants to dub himself as a woman! He's a flashy, rather dashing man and that is that. He still does his job fairly well though, although he's known to be unfair and stingy and incredibly stingy toward most people. He particularly favours those good looking humans with talent and determination. They remind him of his favourite shounen manga the God of Entertainment lent him (apparently he stole them from the God of Art but let's not go into that, okay?). Eru got violently thrown out of the sky after a particularly bad game of Blackjack against kami-sama, which of course, ended with Eru winning because he's never lost before, Kami-sama, insisting that he was the only guy around who was allowed to win, was particularly annoyed because he bet his favourite chariot on that game and therefore, rather dramatically, threw Eru out of the sky, giving him a body to use while he could chill on Earth for a little while. But it turns out Eru spotted pretty ladies down on Earth who looked like, in his opinion, that they were waiting for him and his new sexy body, and then kami-sama, hearing all of this, thus gave him another body; that of a half angel. (Hence the small wings he has to hide all the time.) This managed to cockblock Eru for a while until he realised that hey, lesbian action was pretty hot, and just because he was a guy in a girl's body doesn't mean he wasn't going to have fun on Earth! Jesus told him later on that same year that Kami-sama was prepared to have him back... after a good six years. As Eru was now in the body of a fourteen year old half-angel, exactly a year has gone by and now he's in high school. No one really expects him to be bi though, seeing as he's rarely seen with another man, but that's because he likes to be more secretive with the men. Eru possesses ridiculous luck himself, but it's his job to keep the balance of luck on Earth so humans don't get too cocky, of course, along with those in charge of misfortune. He is not allowed to abuse his powers during his time on Earth, and anyway, his form as an angel won't allow him to take all his powers with him. The amount of his luck that he carries around with him is around 1/8th of his actual stash, but it's still enough to get himself into positions that normal humans would rarely reach (winning tv competitions, getting a 'win' from his ice lolly, picking up notes from the street). Although he can pass on some of his luck onto someone else, he doesn't want to do it because he's selfish and he doesn't have to carry out his duties while he's spending his time playing around on Earth. ERU DOESN'T THINK THERE IS ANY NEED OF TRYING IN SCHOOL because all the cool kids don't try, obviously. And it's not as if he needs any grades to succeed in life because he's a god damn god, okay? eru can't hold a job to save his life, so he regularly changes jobs. He gets financial help from kami-sama when he needs it but he hates asking him for money. It's embarassing. |
