but yes, that'll probably be what tsuki would do if she ever found out that he's a genie. because of how she grew up in a forest pretty much isolated from civilization until recently, she don't know much about any mythical beings that aren't japanese or at least asian descent. so she'd be extremely fascinated by the boy.

so iunno how, but when she eventually discovers his identity i can imagine tsuki asking all kinds of weird questions and ask him to grant random wishes. not that she wanted anything, but more like trying to figure out how his power works and stuff like that. or just to watch him screw up for the fun of it. SO like I was thinking, if most people want to take the amulet so they can have all da wishes for themselves so Aalekh being the troll he is, take the amulet and just keep it with him. He won't use it that often but whenever he sees chandler somehow giving the amulet away he rushes over and smacks him (because its obligatory and he needs to be reminded why he can't give it away) and then takes away the amulet makes Chandler go through a series of stupid tasks and pretty stupid things so that he will learn his lesson.

Aalekh will run him through a series of trials and tests and then the prize will be his amulet back. Afterwards if Aalekh gets bored the next day you can just repeat the gauntlet (because it soudns cool) and start over from step one. Which would be to smack Chandler, maybe sometimes for fun.

basically. they're both happy friendly affectionate people who are a bit ditzy and naive and careless so i feel like they'd get along like peanut butter and jelly. yumi will be the jelly. plus they're the same year, if not the same age, yay~ so i think they could get into some troubles together. in class, around town, whatever. running around like goofballs. yumi will drag him out to play with her, like, all the time. as far as the amulet's concerned, she'll probably think it's super cool for like the first few hours, take it, make him do a bunch of silly wishes for her, then get bored and give it back. something like that.

i can see sachi being.... oddly sympathetic (?) towards chandler, since their problems are alike in a weird way. not that she'll be very obvious about it, but sachi will definitely be slightly nicer and more responsive towards chandler.

if he ever needs someone to talk to, sachi is available for that. despite a woman of few words and slightly pessimistic on top of that, she is actually a really good listener. so maybe an awkward friendship between these two?

Chase doesn't mind that he's an attention whore since Chase mainly focuses on his friends fun and good time rather than his own. The bit about him being an idiot? Chase has little common sense about things and does some really stupid things himself sometimes so no harm no foul. Plus, I don't really see Chase asking for any wishes since the only one he'd ask for is his parents back. Overall, yes, goooooood friiiiieeeeends.
