This is due to the fact that he his initial exposure to both Japanese and English was via Mother Goose and other children's nursery rhymes. From there he moved on to poetry and song and despite his Father trying to correct him, he's kind of gotten accustomed to speaking soley in limerick. Speaking of song and poetry, Chitose has an incredibly passionate love of music and dance. -and part of the reason why he came to Earth was to experiance new kinds of music. He considers Earthling music their sole "great" societal achievment. due to being half-human his control over time (already a rare gift in mars) is very shakey at best and disasterous at worst. he likes to pretend he's very good at it, but chances are if you try and get him to take you into the past or future you'll end up in some kind of hot water. He's considered a professional in a form of maritian dancing with an obnoxiously long name that looks quite a bit like breakdancing. While Chitose enjoys human music, the same can not be said of humans themselves. despite being half-human himself, Chitose sees humans as pitiful and laughably inferior to other races. -and his greatest joy is screwing around with people. In maritian culture, great platonic affection is displayed by beating the shit out of the other person. it's one of Chitose's favourite customs! Curiousity seems to run in the family and Chitose is no exception; he finds everything new to him exciting and has a great desire to find out why things are the way they are. especially with humans themselves. personally, he finds his own cousins to be the strangest and most intriguing and often tries to find ways to get reactions out of them. like blarring k-pop loudly whenever aoi is in the house. On the subject of k-pop, Chitose happens to adore the girl group 2NE1 and is convinced he is going to find and marry one of them. "Chitose" isn't even his real name. It was taken from his Grandfather on his Father's side and used as a cover-up to hide his alien-ness. Well, that and "Knbak'tharic" is kind of hard to pronounce.

[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,325,true] STILL ON HOLD a 'strong desire to please' isn't exactly a positive trait, as it denotes that he could potentially be an ass kisser. as such, what does it mean that he has a strong desire to please 'as long as he likes you'? that if he dislikes you then he wouldn't want to please you? but i'm not really sure how many people he would even like if he's a condescending person? since 'condescending' implies that he thinks he's better than others which is a mindset that can easily stir up negative opinions/distaste for someone? plus it's not like he's even very fond of humans - according to his misc. section - which makes this a less than solid trait, since it doesn't apply to the majority of those around him. whether he is 'confusing as hell' is kind of an opinion. i think an actual adjective that describes how he's confusing would work better in this case. also, if he actually likes to beat people up, it probably means that he's 'violent'.
