Aalekh was in a mad dash to find himself a date for this school event that was happening. He had so far struck out on every account. It was probably the fact that he had absolutely no idea who anybody was. He wasn't exactly new to japan but he was new to the school and to the district he was in. He wasn't used to all these new people. He had the fast city life to live and when it got slower than what he was used to it just felt off. He compensated for his lack of speed with an overabundance of enthusiasm. Right now he was experiencing what he liked to call his cooldown phase. After a heart serving of rejection he needed to get the blood pumping slower he normally found some way to try to relax and make sure nothing exciting happened. He tried to envision himself as an old guy, that seemed to work but today it seemed that cooling down just meant going even faster. He was on fire with the rejection and the only way to make himself feel better was find his unlucky victim to either troll, or somehow end up talking to like a normal person. Aalekh found the latter to be distasteful and boring. He had somehow ended up in the happy lucky pachinko parlor. How he had ended up here was beyond him. Aalekh didn't gamble that much even if he had some money to spare. It wouldn't be a bad idea to find someone to talk to in there, even if it was a little shady and probably really bad for his health. Aalekh had a penchant for luck in these types of games, that and a little sleight of hand got you a lot of places in the world. He may have tried his best to convince himself that he was not a gambler but the more he tried to do that the more he wanted to gamble. If he went in there and won too many times he may end up at the bottom of a lake somewhere. Aalekh had the unluckiness of always being attracted the shadiest and most dangerous tables. He had ended up playing poker with a one eyed man from russia. That man had ended up stabbing the man next to Aalekh. Aalekh had assumed he had missed because of his lack of visual receptors. He walked into the parlor his vision clouded with what seemed to be some kind of smoke. It was awfully loud in here, more than usual. Aalekh found the source of the commotion which was a table filled with what seemed to be the worst of the worst all playing a game of poker. Aalekh considered the benefits of playing this game and decided to play a game of pro's and con's. He had the chance to win a lot of money against what seemed a bunch of amateur poker players. The downside was that if he was caught he would probably be sent to jail for illegal gambling. Aalekh was good at this kind of thing, his dad had some workings with the underground and as such taught Aalekh how to play basic games where he could con people of their money. He decided to take the pro's over the con's and join in for a game or two. What was a game or two began to multiply in amount until Aalekh had reached a heft amount of games played. Unluckily for him the participants were getting furious at there sudden losses, they didn't understand why they were losing when they should have been winning. Unluckily for them, the kid with one of the best poker faces was in town and he was a great card player. Aalekh noticed one of the players trying to cheat and called him out. Soon after a flurry of insults and accusations were being called out. Somehow from all of that physical violence emerged and it was mostly aimed towards the participants. Suddenly the place broke out into Pandemonium and punches began to be thrown and chairs destroyed, it was flurry of arms and legs as bystanders became fighters and some giving chase to Aalekh. Aalekh had single handly caused himself what looked like a war. He needed to get out of here before he got caught in the crossfire. He waded out of a sea of flipped tables and unconscious men and the occasional screaming woman. He noticed the less hazy area seemed to be intact and not being brutally destroyed and so he ran to that end and blended himself with a group of people leaning on the wall. A few of his pursuers looked around before dispersing to look elsewhere for the troublesome teen. Anyone else int he area could have clearly seen who the man were after and gone to help the poor boy. He was clinging to the hope that he may spot a familiar uniform, he was still in his which had actually given him an unassuming look and an advantage in the game of cards. He thought he spotted a girl wearing the St whatever it was called's uniform. He dismissed the thought since a girl wouldn't possibly be in this place. | 879 words Hikako He needs yo help womanz |
