As a firstborn son of the Akihara family, a lot was expected of Yasuo. As a child, he proved that he was more than capable to handle the task. He was able to handle most of what his family through at him to prep him for the future he was most likely going to take. He grew up looking up to his father and as such he wanted to follow in the family footsteps. It was in his blood and it is what he believes is his destiny.
Growing up, he didn't play much. As a firstborn, he was put through a lot but he managed to carry the burden with faience. He didn't interact much with his other sibling, Kaede. Not until he was eight, when he saw her burying her pet rabbit. He hadn't really interacted with her up until this point and so he shrugged it off and went on his way. The next day, when she had no memory of it and had a maid fired, he said nothing. When Kaede started to make a name for herself in the family and started receiving gifts from their relatives, Yasuo became more inclined to take that spotlight off of her. Which is why, when she entered the boy's academy some time later, he sat on the information. He would tell on her, as it wasn't advantageous in the long run to do so.
When she was discovered, he took that opportunity to push further into his studies and take the spotlight as the star child. It didn't do much but he was recognized by his relatives more so than before. He hoped it would be enough to become the head of the family, he wanted that and more. Nothing is going to stop him as he continues his last year at the Hyaku Academy.

✶ He was actually lead on by a maid when he was 14 years old. She wanted to have his child so she could have a tie to the family. He allowed it but she never had a child and shortly later, he had her fired.
✶ He doesn't really like animals, he much prefers people to a dog or cat. He considers people as pets, it's just a matter of which one is more important and powerful than the other.
✶ Yasuo plays the prince charming but in reality he is only expanding his network so that he has ties where others do not.
✶ His favorite color is actually Gainsboro, a shade of grey.

you can reply with whatever styling you choose. we will not judge based on your lack of knowledge with the rpg or the boards. this is just a general assessment of your writing ability.

"Hurry, Chihiro-san! Another ten minutes and you will be late! Again!" squawked the parrot that was currently stationed - shakily or not - atop the redheaded Tanemura, flapping its wings agitatedly.
"Shut it!" Chihiro instantly snapped back rather viciously as she pried the robot bird from her being, glaring at it before tossing it over her shoulder, all the while still running towards the direction of her school, "Try to jinx me again, parrot, and I'll rip off your head and throw it at an oncoming car!"
That was probably the thing about most of her inventions; they were usually 'alive' and programmed to communicate with others. That, or they simply had a mind of their own even despite any possible inability to vocalize their thoughts. Either way, it often resulted in Chihiro growing upset - and trust me, she grew upset very easily being the temperamental young woman she was - and eventually physically abusing the mechanical beings.
... Not that her parrot 'sidekick' didn't deserve it most of the time though, what with its stupidity and all. Why she still relied on its alarm system every once in awhile was beyond even herself, when all it could ever accomplish was having her end up in the detention hall for her lateness. It was probably about time that she either sat down to fix the parrot, or to find a cure for her scatteredness.
Up ahead, one of the taller buildings - specifically the cathedral - fell into her field of vision. A smirk of sorts tugged at one corner of her lips and Chihiro was about to pick up her running speed when all of a sudden, a figure flashed out from nowhere - or maybe it was just because she was distracted by the cathedral roof. On instinct, the junior turned sideways and her feet skidded, stopping completely thankfully - despite the close proximity - before she could crash into the other person.
"You know, I'm sure everybody would appreciate it if you'd so much as try to look at where you're going every once in awhile." she offered, her tone irritated even despite herself being the one who was probably more at fault.
However, the pair of crimson orbs blinked and instantly rolled when the sixteen year old suddenly recognized the other person, who was no other than her elder cousin - distant or not - Akihara Yasuo, also known as the brother of the 'dumb bitch dos' named Akihara Kaede.
Actually, on second thought, she wouldn't even grace that family with the honour of being related to her, a Tanemura, what with their piss poor personality and shallow minds.
A sneer on her face, the second year arched a brow at her cousin for a brief moment before physically walking around the male in pure disgust, "Nice weather today, hn, Yasuo-kun? Well, so sorry, but unfortunately I don't even have the time to spare for a member of the swine family. Tata~ see you never!"

Yasuo stretched his hands up in the air. One paper bag and one school bag hung from one of them. It was his breakfast for the morning, he hadn't wanted to stick around the house long enough to eat the five star breakfast that most likely sat on the table of their home.
It seemed to make a bigger impact on people when he showed up with a piece of toast in his mouth. Which is exactly what was in his mouth as he walked. Another advantageous move, as most seemed to prefer a rich guy who didn't flaunt his money by showing up at school in a limo or some other extravagant vehicle.
He wore his school uniform, ironed and tidy. His blonde hair was styled how he usually kept it, with some parting to his left side. His mood was pretty casual and it was looking to be a good day. The piece of toast was still in his mouth as he lowered his arms, his bag now on his right side. He looked to the watch on his left wrist as he nibbled carefully on the toast.
He was on time this morning. A few more minutes and he would be on school campus ready for his first class of the day.
The cathedral was as captivating as ever. He really liked the style of the building. He wanted to have his home modeled somewhat after it. He just liked the use of arches. It was gothic themed but the polished white stone gave it that holy look. Yasuo was so caught up in the building that he didn't notice the figure running at him.
He heard the sound of skidding before he looked in that direction. He came face to face with his cousin, Chihiro. Well sort of face-to-face as he was taller than her, he could see the top of her head when his gaze was angled ahead of him. He had met her a time or two but never really considered her important enough to interact with. He blinked several times with a look of mild interest as he gaze down at her, the toast still in his mouth. He ignored her comment on him needing to watch where he was going, as it was fairly obvious that she hadn't been following her own advice or she would have been angle herself to run past him.
He took the toast from his mouth and finished off the last bite in his mouth before he spoke. "It is very nice weather today, I'm glad your eyes are good enough to even notice. I take it from the fact that you are running that you are late to class, as usual? That's pretty upsetting but I believe if you close your mouth and start charging like a big hulking bull, you might just make it in time."
He said all of this with a pleasant enough smile on his face. Yasuo didn't wait for a response as he went back on his way, taking one of the last bites from his piece of toast. Interacting with distant family could be very unnerving but he tended to handle it as he would any unpleasant business, as if e enjoyed it before going off to do something more pleasant. He waved his hand in the air, casting a amber gaze back at his cousin as if it had been a pleasant bump in.
Hopefully this wasn't a foresight of the day or it would be very unpleasant.
