ringo s words 554 notes not that great but I FINALLY GOT IT UP. sorry it took so long orz and uh, they'll be at the mall so hopefully i put this in the right place <.<[/style][/style][style=width: 250px; padding: 10 0 10 10; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify]Fuyuko's parents had made her go to St. Valentine's, and in the shock of the moment, she agreed. However, other than that, they still had no real hold on her.Really, if anything, they just wasted their one element of surprise on something as stupid as enrollment in a school. In fact, seeing as this year was her last one here, even that one moment of superiority would be a thing of the past soon enough. Things would return to how they used to be: she wanted something, she got it. Her parents would just be usable tools once again. Lounging on a couch, with a pillow hugged to her chest, the senior was flipping through channels on the TV. "Nothing good is ever on anymore...What a bother." Without TV, what else was there to do on a weekend? If she were some normal teenage girl, she'd have loads of girl friends to hang out with and gush over useless topics. But alas, she was not by any means normal, and if someone couldn't just put up with her attitude as it was, then Fuyuko didn't want to bother wasting her time with them to become "friends". Besides, girly topics like boys or the latest gossip or the most recent hair products didn't interest the girl in the slightest. In fact, she gave absolutely no fucks and they'd learn that as the first "omg" left their mouths. In short, Fuyuko was bored and she needed to do something other than reflect on her less than ideal social life and good-for-nothing-but-money parents. The answer to this dilemma was shopping. After all, she was refreshingly pissed at her guardians, so what better way to vent than blow their money and reaffirm her dominance? After all, she'd kept up her end of the promise to hide her magical talents (or lack of therefore), even in that wretched school. So there wasn't anything they could do anyways. "But if I'm shopping...I need to carry things. And that's about the most loathsome part about it." Ugh, and she even liked this idea too. Seeing as her blackmail was still in play, the possibility of asking her mom to accompany her and carry everything was entirely possible. But Fuyuko wasn't in the mood to be around her, especially when she was trying to spite her. This would've been the perfect time to call on friends, but- Wait. she wasn't completely friendless. Because she had Ringo. The little dork who her parents had introduced her to when she was still a child, and also another less-than-proficient wizard. How could she have forgotten him for a second? Her ideal pack mule. He'd carry everything without (too much) complaint, and his company was at least tolerable. Maybe she could even buy him something on her impromptu spree as well, since more money spent meant more victory for her. Hopping off the sofa and letting the pillow fall to the ground (someone else would notice and pick it up), the teen made her way to her room and dug out some shoes. Grabbing her cell phone off her night stand as she slipped into some flats, Fuyuko texted the ever-so-familiar number of her childhood friend. "oi ringo. im going shopping and you need too carry my bags. get to my house asap."[/style]

[style=font-size: 8px]made by KING of PRE & OTE[/style]

The ingredients were easy to obtain however, one must have the sharpest attention to detail in order to successfully pull off this synthesis...Even the slightest mess up will cause all of Ringo's efforts to not only fall flat but be disastrous for many others. Ringo started to go through the procedure in his head as he laid out the ingredients before him.
One Allium Cepa from Centeral Asia, one red member of the cultivar group of Capsicum annuum, a decent sized amount of cut meat from a domestic pig, and eight eggs laid by a bird commonly known as a Chicken. These ingredients are needed to be mixed together with proper care otherwise this young alchemist can't call himself a practitioner of synthesis....come to think of it, what Ringo was doing right now can't truely be called synthesis more like a mix but none the less he must master this very delicate art...now just get ready to crack the eggs and...
RRRRINNNGGG
"WHA!!" Ringo nearly dropped the egg he was holding as he looked over at his cellphone going off on his desk. He sighed in relief seeing as how his alarm is for nothing. He took a deep breathe and walked over to the phone. He opened it to reveal that there was a new text message in his inbox.
"Oi Ringo. I'm going shopping and you need too carry my bags. get to my house asap."Ringo simply stared at his phone then at the egg he was holding...then at the ingredients he gathered. The one giving this Ringo such a pleasant invitation is Kasuga Fuyuko. The two are alike in ways and maybe they have bonded that way. Their families knew each other and were both from a long line of mages....however that is not where their similarities end.
They both royally suck at magic plain and simple. In fact, it was a miracle that Ringo is even doing alchemy in the first place. Even if the "magic" of alchemy is from an outside source, it still requires skill from the user for them to craft their creation. Fuyuko...well...rather strange hair color is proof enough that her magic talent isn't going to get her anywhere. Speaking of which...
...Ringo flipped through a few notes he had on his desk. The title of the notes said "Fuyuko's hair cure." He sighed as he looked at it. This was far from perfect...much like that omelet he was trying to make.
Ringo closed the phone with a sad smile on his face. He knew what shopping with Fuyuko will lead to. One need to be a genius to know the equation of one boy carrying a mountain of bags will result to. He placed the eggs and all the ingredients in the refrigerator. He looked over at the notes on the table. He better hide those. If Fuyuko and his sisters found this, they'd never take him seriously. Ringo stashed the notes away and placed just his cellphone in his pocket. It was a much better idea to travel light in this situation. He threw off the apron he had on. Can't exactly travel light in that as well.
Ringo right away found himself traveling over to the Kasuga household. He wondered if he should call her...though the family does Ringo well enough so maybe knocking on the door shouldn't be all that bad an idea. He raised his arm and then knocked on the door a few times. Ringo then placed his hands in his pocket to wait on her. He looked presentable at least. Just a dark blue collared t-shirt and jeans. Nothing too flashy or anything.

Ringo s words 688 notes Hahaha skip to the bottom Iiiii rambled a lot [/style][/style][style=width: 250px; padding: 10 0 10 10; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify]At first, Fuyuko had waited by her phone for a reply. Flipping on the TV again, she took up the routine of "watching" the TV, then glancing at her phone, and then turning back to the TV. Jeez Ringo how long did it take to text a "sure' or a "no"?! Diverting her attention was supposed to make time go by faster, or at least make it seem not as long, but in the end, Fuyuko ended up staring at her phone constantly. Ugh if he couldn't come then tell her so she would know if she could go or not. Stupid Ringo... Huffing a bit, the teen promptly tossed her phone onto another couch, as if determined not to look at it. Some drama was on, so she reasoned with herself that once it was over, she'd text Ringo and tell him he was too slow and she was going without him. "Actually...if he doesn't go, I need to carry the bags. And if that's the case, shopping is going to turn downright obnoxious. Maybe i'll just lie and make him feel bad he didn't get back to me sooner or something instead. He of all people should at least know courtesy." Shrugging and figuring that'd be her Plan B, it was back to whatever-this-drama-was-called. Fortunately, Fuyuko was easily sucked into whatever she ended up watching. Didn't exactly catch the name maybe, but the plot was thoroughly intriguing. Considering she started it about halfway through, she didn't really get the whole story. But it seems she'd made it just in time to get the gist of what was currently going on. It was the run of the mill thief-plans-to-steal-something-but-falls-in-love-along-the-way type thing, but it wasn't all sappy. There were trials (that she didn't get to see), and now the choice of the priceless gem, or the true love was being presented. "Come on, the jewel or the girl! Choose one...!" And then commercial. Flopping backwards onto the couch, literally having been on the edge of her seat, Fuyuko groaned and wiped a hand over her face. "Commercials suck. I'm not going to buy your crappy merchandise so get back to the show!" Heaving a sigh and staring at the ceiling, listening to a jingle she'd probably get to hear over every radio and commercial, it was then the multi hair colored girl's attention was brought to knocking at the door. Ringo? The possibility of anyone else coming to the door didn't exactly cross her mind, and Fuyuko quickly checked her discarded phone for any missed messages. None. "That dweeb just up and came without notifying me at all then, how inconsiderate!" Making her way to the door nonetheless, the teen opened it to reveal none other than Ringo. Greeting him with a harsh stare, Fuyuko held his gaze for an extra moment before speaking. "You could have had the decency to let me know whether you could actually come or not." Though I...guess I didn't leave much a choice now that I think about it. Oh well. Leaving no room for a response (or at least any indication she wanted on) and brushing past him and closing the door behind her, Fuyuko glanced back once as if to say "Let's go" before setting off towards the mall. With someone as lazy as her, maybe taking a car would have seemed more appropriate for times like these. However the walking distance wasn't impossible, and on the weekend in the afternoon, parking was just a bitch. Besides, wasn't like she'd be carrying anything. ------------ Finally arriving at the Nishi Mall, the teen looked at her companion, and then the rows of stores before them. "Alright Ringo, where should we start? I'm nice enough to let you pick so don't...mess it up or anything." How could you mess up picking a store, you might ask? Well Fuyuko wasn't sure herself, but if she wasn't the one doing the picking herself, it was entirely possible. So she was adding that last bit in for good measure and Ringo's own good. Yeah, that was what it was. [/style]

[style=font-size: 8px]made by KING of PRE & OTE[/style]

He took out his cellphone to check the time and then a thought occurred to him. He could just text when he was going to arrive...Fuyuko's most likely going to call him out on that...
...and there she was. The lady of the rainbow hair with a stare harsh enough to make Ringo nervously laugh. He knew that stare unfortunately. It was a stare he often got during many moments of their childhood.
"You could have had the decency to let me know whether you could actually come or not." Ringo scratched the back of his head as he checked the text message again before closing his phone. The message really didn't give Ringo a choice. He can't exactly say yes or no. May he forbid himself for thinking what would happen if he responded no to the text.
"Come on, you know I always listen to your requests." Ringo said with a smile and rested his hands in his pockets. This was going to be a long walk and he was going to have to use his arms to haul her shopping. Why do girl's have to shop so much...and how come he always seemed to be the one to carry everything? Oh how he prayed he had the magical balancing skill of a cartoon character.
Ringo followed Fuyuko into the mall. There he saw a wide selection of stores that spanned the entire building. A shopper's paradise...a pack mule's nightmare. Ringo looked around the mall. There was plenty of people around. Of course, it was a weekend after all.
"Alright Ringo, where should we start? I'm nice enough to let you pick so don't...mess it up or anything." Ringo blinked for a moment. How does one mess up choosing a store to shop at? Especially in a mall? Ringo pondered for a moment. Maybe if one picked the playground but who'd do that? The swings did look fun though
"W-well why do we start with a meal first?" Ringo said. He doesn't know if Fuyuko ate breakfast or lunch for that matter. He wouldn't want her going hungry after all. "Let's go find something to take a small bite from." Ringo started to look around the mall around him for a food court before pointing to it and looking at Fuyuko.
"What would you like to eat? I..." Ringo quickly dug out his wallet....and it turns out his allowance isn't as high as he thought it would be. He then started to laugh sadly. "...won't be able to treat you..." Ringo then remembered he paid for all those ingredients. "I spent my allowance on groceries and ingredients. I guess I can cook for you after shopping but if you're hungry now..." Ringo started to get his mind working on a solution.
Ringo scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. He wouldn't exactly want her to waste her money on something like this...hold the phone she's here to shop it shouldn't be too much of a problem...right? Though Ringo still feels a tinge bad about not being able to treat his childhood friend in some form. Maybe Ringo should be more cautious with his spendings...

Ringo s words 586 notes Gaaaah I am sorry I keep replying late >.< [/style][/style][style=width: 250px; padding: 10 0 10 10; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify]Fuyuko didn't think he'd actually be able to mess up picking a store. But...not picking an actual store could juust maybe be the wrong answer. Honestly Fuyuko's first thoughts were that Ringo was trying to put off having to carry everything for as long as possible. Eating sure accomplished that nicely, and the teen had half a mind to outright object on this notion. But then she remembered who she was dealing with. Ringo. A little dork who actually agreed to come in the first place, and who would do whatever she asked. He wasn't devious enough to really put effort into distracting her. Besides, if this was all planned out, you'd expect he'd at least have the money to treat her. Normally that'd convince someone swimmingly. Yeah, Ringo was just being Ringo. And as usual, he was being a dork. Almost offering to pay then shutting himself down, typical. Making sure to let out an overly dramatic sigh, the witch twirled her hand in the air. "Ringo, you're really not going to get a girlfriend like this. Honestly." Giving him an exasperated look for good measure, "And while the fact you can cook is nice and all, mentioning food now has gotten me hungry anyways so it looks like I'll be treating you. Totally reverse what should be happening, you know." Actually, it was probably better she pay for now. After all, the goal of this trip was to spend as much money as possible, so if they both got expensive food, it was one step closer to mission accomplished. With a full stomach, it'll be theoretically easier to shop too, barring out the need to take a break in the middle of momentum. Huh, looked like Ringo's suggestion was better than she initially thought. Who would have guessed? Looking over at the food court and already mapping out what she'd possibly want to have, Fuyuko spared her pack mule a glance. Hm...it would be no fun to have a gloomy person following her around, or more pressing of an issue, eating with her. So she should try to give him something more positive before ordering. Oh what a thoughtful being she was. "Though this serves my goal to spend as much money as possible as well. And...I guess it would only be fair that I pay since you'll be carrying all my bags anyways. So let's go already." Impromptu evening out her taunts with attempts at looking to the "bright side" out of the way, it was about time to get some food now. The most expensive bentou in the entire court...yeah that seemed good. Or maybe the value sushi from the sushi bar... Decisions, decisions. Walking off towards the food court without furher ado, Fuyuko paused before entering. Sadly the food court was unfortunately packed. There probably were a few tables left, especially for only two people, but the effort. Sadly, it wasn't humanly possible to make Ringo find a table and order food at the same time, so she had to go about this one thing at a time. "I leave it up to you to find us a table. Be sure not to make a poor choice, regardless of the limited space." Once she sat down, the teen could at least trust the alchemist to order her food for her once she specified the expense requirement. But first, it was his duty to locate the place she was sitting down. [/style]

[style=font-size: 8px]made by KING of PRE & OTE[/style]

Honestly." Fuyuko said after a long drawn out sigh. She twirled her hand in her hair as she gives Ringo a look of disappointment. "And while the fact you can cook is nice and all, mentioning food now has gotten me hungry anyways so it looks like I'll be treating you. Totally reverse what should be happening, you know." Ringo nodded in a bit of shame.
Fuyuko...kinda has a point. He can't really make promises he can't fulfill. Ringo scratched the back of his head. At this rate, he started to wonder about the capability to get a girlfriend...then again he really doesn't have time for that. What with the work load from school, his research, and other dedications. Ringo never really considered himself ready for a relationship.
"Though this serves my goal to spend as much money as possible as well. And...I guess it would only be fair that I pay since you'll be carrying all my bags anyways. So let's go already." Fuyuko and Ringo began to look around the food court. She paused as she watched the crowded court. Ringo tried finding a seat. This was going to be difficult. "I leave it up to you to find us a table. Be sure not to make a poor choice, regardless of the limited space." Ringo looked around and then tried to find a table. No doubt that Fuyuko wanted a two person table seeing as how she wasn't the biggest people person.
Ringo began to walk around, though he didn't stray too far from Fuyuko. He didn't want the girl he was escorting around and serving as his pack mule separated from him or lost anywhere. Ringo began to look around and then finally smiled when he found a table. He quickly went over to the table.
The table it self was a small two seat table but it'll have to do. It was a bit ways into the corner so he was going to have to grab Fuyuko and be fast about it. Ringo turned right around and smiled over at the multi haired colored girl.
"I found us a table though we better get going fast. Hope you don't mind it being a bit ways in the corner." Ringo offered a hand to her since she was sitting down waiting for Ringo to search for a table. Come to think of it, he now got the feeling that the girl was going to send him to buy the food after giving him the money. It didn't matter really she was a friend. Plus the fact that she was going to hand him the money to pay for the food was in it's own ways generous? Then again...from what Ringo's limited observation Fuyuko didn't exactly get along with her parents to say the least. Ringo is somehow now getting a feeling she came here to blow her parent's cash cause she can. People really do have different relationships with their parents do they?
