[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] like many others, akito is not exactly who he appears to be on the outside. however, the one trait that really sets akito from most other boys his age is the fact that he - despite appearance - is a complete misogynist. one who's actually terrified of women, at that. you see, akito's always had the habit of pretending to be someone he isn't. and he tends to cover up his selfish true nature that cares about nothing but his own well-being, with the typical image of a 'charming' young man. this is by far the only explanation to why he may appear to be rather well-mannered and easygoing around the opposite gender though is - in all actuality - most likely screaming on the inside due to fright... or simply tearing apart and discriminating against anything that exists. akito is a hypocrite and an extremely difficult person to please, even if he will rarely voice whatever displeasure he may have towards a subject. akito's distaste - which is more like a phobia, really - towards females stemmed from his two elder sisters who have been constantly tormenting the boy since he was young. and as if that wasn't enough already, akito was even rejected by the same girl - not once, but twice - in front of the whole school during his middle school freshman year. the rejection was then followed by mockeries of all kinds from the rest of the girls in his class. akito began to invest all his time into sports from then on and was known at one point as the star athlete of the junior division. family-wise, the saegusa's are fairly ordinary, but only to an extent. aside from the blacklette himself, there's a pair of vicious twin sisters - ruka and runa - who're four years older than akito, as well as parents who once sat at the top of the country. the patriarch of the saegusa family held the position of a world-renowned diamond dealer once upon a time, while the mother used to be a tv actress (which may or may not explain akito's own talent in acting). both businesses went down the drain when akito was around ten years of age however, and the family quickly fled from tokyo before debt collectors could even begin to bang on their doors. nevertheless, even despite the saegusa's current financial condition, akito - deep down - remains as the spoiled young man he's always been, usually seeking the approval and attention of others and acting as if he was from a rich family with a superb background.
