[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] angelo moretti was christened in the fall, born to two hot-headed, passionate lovers who were both high-ranking members of the sicilian mafia. angelo spent much of his early childhood around this extended family, constantly attaching himself to various "aunts" and "uncles." for the most part, this carefree way-of-life continued until angelo grew a little older, when he began to understand the true nature of his parents' occupation. angelo still saw his large family in the same light, assured that they would never hurt him and would protect him. life continued smoothly until his tenth birthday, when elevating internal disputes boiled over into violence that finally affected angelo personally. in the confusion, angelo was grazed with a bullet on his left side and still has a scar there as a lasting reminder. his parents took the injury as their cue to cut their ties to the mafia and leave the country, heading for refuge in japan. there, the nuclear family jumped from city to city. upon hearing of a military school in midori, they moved once again. angelo was enrolled in hyaku by his battle-hardened mother and father, who believed their son should be toughened in preparation for "the real world." ...not that he wasn't living in it already, but angelo kept his lips sealed and his sass internal. a wise decision, as always.
