[bg=#ECECEC][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] THE INESCAPABLE PAST |
[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] Himeka lived a rather normal life with her parents and siblings. She had an older sister and a little brother who she loved despite getting into petty fights with them every so often. Her mother made really good pancakes and her dad smelled like spices and smoke more often than not. They were a rather average family who also had a bad habit of accepting just about anything and everything that happened- no questions asked. One day, Himeka opted to go to the store by herself to get some milk. It was just around the block and she was ten years old and she had just lost a tooth so she was pretty sure nothing was gonna happen to her if she went alone. After purchasing said milk- 2% because mama Kaburagi was watching her figure- Himeka was crossing the street when an out-of-control truck slammed into her sending her flying. Along with the milk. She was barely alive when a man, a British scientist who had been banished from his country for various yet not disclosed reasons, recovered her body and decided he would save the girl WITH SCIENCE rather than waist time waiting for an ambulance. It took one week for the process to be completed, and Himeka found herself with different colored eyes and her previously missing tooth replaced. The scientist, Mike as he introduced himself, said she was saved by using technology virtually unheard of. Himeka had internet access in her mind, the ability to turn her arms into insane canons and display holographic screens. To have jet boosters rip from her limbs and fly around like a certain armored hero. To have her skin mold back perfectly to cover said limbs after being ripped apart. She could lift well beyond the limits of man. The technology within her body was light and durable. She was a success. Mike had brought her back home and formally introduced himself to the Kaburagi family who had been wondering just what happened to Himeka and the milk, telling them all about the new functions their daughter had installed and why he did it. "For science!" He became a regular in the household, visiting often claiming it was to make sure Himeka was functioning well with the technology in her body and not for mama kaburagi's pancakes. Everything had settled down and she grew up without any real problems arising- going to St. Valentines because all the cool kids seemed to be doing it. |
[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] WHAT ELSE IS THERE? |
[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] * Can speak to most every electronic piece of technology. She finds computers to have all the hot gossip and microwaves to be incredibly rude. * She can shoot lasers from her eyes. They're relatively harmless unless you have sensitive skin, despite the fact they're the same as microwaves so she can heat up food. (Gotta avoid talking to those evil machines somehow.) * She is a walking wi-fi signal. The password is password. The connection speed is adequate. * Still retains all her human functions with an added bonus of a small panel of buttons designed to shut down her emotions or change to one emotion specifically. It's located on her shoulder and the fact it can easily be messed with purely by accident didn't actually register with the scientist at the time. * Terrible test anxiety prevents her from passing a test. She literally cannot compute when it comes to tests and has gone to extremes just to avoid them. Not even her manual emotion switcher helps |
