[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] born on the 21st of december as the middle child of three (with one older brother and one younger sister), tanemura chihiro has always had the temper of a stereotypical redhead. while opinionated and has so much insensitivity that she often comes off as a rude individual, chihiro is actually a habitual liar who prefers to be well-liked, especially by her peers. she is a walking contradiction and a feminist above all else; she has more pride in her own gender than what's considered normal, mostly because of the fact that she's attended all girls schools her whole life. however, underneath the conceited persona is a very nerdy and geeky girl whose hobbies chihiro has tried - without much failure thus far - to hide from the mass majority. superheroes, transformers, power rangers, video games, just to name a few of the things she adores - even if she does pretend on the outside that she has the same likes and dislikes as any other high school girl. background-wise, chihiro came from quite the ordinary family with nothing particularly interesting to take note of. aside from the fact that both of her parents work as ghost hunters and that her father's an alien, of course, which is why chihiro's been gifted with enhanced hearing since birth. nevermind that she is tone deaf. ironically, chihiro is also a lost case when it comes to anything unrelated to science and mathematics, hence the reason why she needs to work extra hard (to the point where she'd start puking blood after practicing the flute for hours, for example) in other subjects so as to keep up with her classmates. chihiro was also the japan representative in the international math olympiad during her freshman year and plans on doing her best again this year.
