Despite being born in a large and wealthy family, the young sato yoshito was the only one in his generation had always longed for someone to keep him companied. So he picked up the small, wrinkled fur ball in his palms and brought it home with him. In the next few years Minazuki grew up just like every other house pet – although she absolutely refused to see herself as domesticated – bringing joy and energy into the isolated mansion. Not all story ends happy, though. When minazuki reached her tenth year in life, her tail started to fork into two. The entire household was terrified upon discovering such fact, and in superstition thought that keeping such a demon would bring harm to the family. When the feline was enjoying her midday nap, only to be interrupted by a large net and a mob of dreaded family members led by her yoshito, saying she was devastated was an understatement. In the end she managed to escape from their grasp with a nasty gash on her back, feeling confused and utterly betrayed as she stumbled deep into the forest. After regaining her conscious minazuki realized she was taken in by a powerful local youkai – a kitsune who was nearly a thousand years old – and since then stayed with him/her to learn the way of youkai, along with a number of other young youkais that lived in the norther forest. The sato household’s business had fallen rapidly within the following two decades, then eventually forcing them leaving their once glorious mansion located deep in the woods. Immediately after the mansion had cleared out, the kitsune decided that they would make the mansion their HQ of sorts and had been living there ever since. It was only a year ago when tsuki reached eighty-two (still just a child by youkai standards) that she gained the ability to shapeshift into human form. It was not long before that the kitsune declared that in order for the youkais to adapt better to the rapidly-changing society, minatsuki – along with the other young youkais possessing the same talent of shapeshifting – must go and experience human society. Although most of them were pretty damn sure he/she was doing that just for his own amusement. under the request of their unofficial leader the youkais within the family either found themselves a job or became a student like minatsuki So that was the story of how minatsuki ended up in st. valentine’s

[bg=#ececec][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=align,center,true][atrb=width,425,true] + bakeneko wiki + minatsuki was named by the month she was first discovered by yoshito, which was also her birth month. she grew quite fond of the name so didn't bother changing it even after her escape from her human companions + took great pride in her silky smooth coat of white fur - errr i meant hair - and is willing to claw people's eyes out if they ever did anything to damage it. + immensely fascinated and at the same time confused by the ways of the foreign mystical creatures. + surprisingly picky eater. so no, despite what people believe she will not eat dead humans. they only leave a sour aftertaste anyways snakes make good stew though + since she was taught by a skilled fox demon, tsuki had learnt to perform illusion despite it not being her particular field of expertise + her best subjects being literature, history (because some of her family members probably lived through it), and -surprise surprise - foreign language. the sciences are something tsuki always had trouble with, due to her living in the forest for many decades + technology confuses her. seriously, she would probably prefer messenger pigeons over texting and computer is just ....no. but she is learning quickly since adapting to society is her main goal while in school
